I just got off the phone with Mr. Guttman (he's sure spending a lot of time on the phone today), and here's what I was able to find out --

He doesn't know exactly how many shares are outstanding. At the end of 1997, there were 46 million. Another 12 million or so were issued recently, plus the undisclosed amount that were issued per today's announcement. He stated "the company has told me that there are about 11-12 million shares in the float".

Audited financials were released about a month ago. He offered to fax them to me, but unfortunately I don't have a fax.

Hope this helps.

Rose

Gortism? Gortism? Hey, wait a minute. I remember this Gort character. A big, silver bugger, with laser vision. Does anybody else remember Patricia Neal saying to him:

Gort....Clateau Verada Nictoh
Clateau Verada Nictoh

(The Day the Earth Stood Still)

Why is everyone a scam artist who voices an objective opinion. Gerald is absolutely right, there is not enough information to value this company by any traditional means.

I would more tend to suggest a scam artist would state facts that are not true, such as they have copies of audidted financials. But no one would be that silly, as it is to easy to verify.

But don't fret, the price will stabilize as the non scam artists continue to average down.

Its nice to see some challenging questions on this board.
