BAY is not realistically valued at anywhere near $38/sh, given its products and prospects. Each quarter brings another mess, another disappointment, another "next time". BAY got that amount simply because of the clock, Nortel feared a bidding war. Too bad for them that they didn't act when BAY was more realistically valued. This could prove a great opportunity for Cisco, as Nortel's competitors should shun BAY products even more than they do now.
