Ray,
It appears that you are offering a sincere and committed response to the thread, so I will try to give you an objective and sincere response to why I feel that AENG is not what it is projected to be:
You write:
1) Why would any company provide demonstrations and drawings to companies in the U.S. without patent protection:
Response: David Copperfield makes a multi-million dollar yearly income with mirages. The proof is letting some reputable research firm(and there are many)do an analyzes of the engine without AENG's direction or leadership in the testing. Do you not think that any major corporation would not do independent studies on the engine before they sign a contract. Why not get it done now, as surely this will be done before any contracts are signed. Ray, this is a simple business premise and I'm sure that even you wouldn't sign a contract without doing any independent due diligence on the engine.

2) You mention you friendship with the President of Outboard Marine and his positive response to the demo.
Response: If he was so impressed, why is he telling you this without his company having the lawyers to prepare contracts to lock up this engine from his competitors. Appears that he wasn't impressed enough to take this action, so why should others.

3) Why does anyone think that the company would automatically give patent numbers for others to look at.
Response: Ray this one is very simple to answer. It is how reputable companies handle patents everyday of their corporate being. Any company that doesn't share such information with their shareholders is not doing their job. For example: Look at Xoma Corporation(I own stock in the company) They issued a news release just today, announcing a newly issued patent. Ray, if you think the engine business is competitive, you need to look at the biotech industry and they don't seem to have any difficulty being open to their shareholders.

I could give you more, but I think this is enough. As for the $21.00 trade after the market closed on Friday, I can only hope for the sake of any shareholders that this isn't what it appears.

RAY: You state that: "If a company should put out the information in the public domain (web page) that is blatantly false, it could and would be construed as fraud." You seem sincere, so I will spell it out very clearly for you. I think they have committed fraud and I explain how and why below.

Please go over the logic very carefully here because it appears that they have done exactly what you refer to in your post. Firstly, see AENG's website oxtwo.com under "what's new "it says "Issuance of United States Patent." You then click on "Notification of approval has been received for the patent of the OX2 Engine"

Now read the letter from the Australian law firm on AENG's site: oxtwo.com

Note that the letter is very unclear. It seems to be a letter notifying the inventor of the patent that his patent has been transferred to AENG Pty, which seems to be AENG's Australian subsidiary, but has not been disclosed by AENG, what if any ownership or relationship they have with AENG Pty. Thus you have an Australian law firm speaking on behalf of an Australian inventor about an Australian patent. From what I can tell, the letter has nothing to do with a US patent.

IF the US patent law firm (mentioned in the letter) had posted something about an eminent patent being issued, it might mean a whole lot more. However, if you examine the excellent and might I say unbiased work by 246810, Sword and Wireless Wonk (which it seem there is more to follow) you would see that, if indeed AENG (US) were to receive a US patent, it seems that a) there are several close by patents that limit the broadness (is that a word?) the royalty stream available to AENG and b) The Big 3 could very likely trivialize said imaginary patent bye designing around it.

See my post following Greg's feigned surprise at seeing what he thought was the US patent for further details:

Ray, Its great to read your posts. I also bought in at 1.00 and bought more at 5.00 to 7.50 and more recently at 13.00. I have seen the tapes of the engine running and am amazed of the simplicity. I know nothing about engines and just want to ask a few questions. Can you touch the engine after it has been running for a period of time with out the engine burning your hands? What in your opinion makes this work at low tempratures. How long of a period off time did this engine run for? Also can the engine run on different fuels as stated? What applications for this engine do you think we may see first? I dont mean to ask too many questions, but with you watching the engine demonstration would love to hear what you have to say. I truly believe that we may be witnessing a new century of engines in our future. It would be great to be on the ground floor of something this big
In for the long

Ray regarding the deterioration of this thread. While the troika of Greg, LIQ Crystal
Vanish and Fratman might argue otherwise, I believe that our posts have been very
informative about the short case for stock as well as shorts in general.

You may not care to hear it, but the short side is the other side of the coin. If all of the
shorts questions are answered, then you may have an excellent basis for investment.

It may sound non-self deprecating to you but, I am pretty sure that the information
regarding how a short works operationally cannot be found anywhere else on SI,
perhaps not even in a book. If you find it let us know, we are always up for more
information on the subject. As well, the patent/royalty information research that
Wireless Wonk, 246810 and Sword have done is something that one would have to
pay serious money for, if it were obtainable.

So, I appreciate that you are a polite person and I try to be as well. But there is much valid information about the market maker TRAV, as well as the insiders insidious selling that come into play regarding the value of AENG the stock, versus AENG the engine.

Ray,
If you would like to see another classic case of how individuals operate with charts, graphs, and prototypes of products and use them to promote their stock, you might want to look at the RDOX thread here on SI. With a well timed news release and glowing reports of a battery that would be sold to guess who.....NASA and all major computer companies, this stock screamed from just pennies to over 5.00. With the stock rising, the insiders were bailing. Price started dropping, another news release was issued with promises of major funding. The last time I counted this funding was promised by December, then first quarter, the last promise was issued in a news release of about April 15th with the assurance it would be provided by a mysterious entity within the next thirty(30) days. Ray, I don't have a calendar handy but I think that from April 15th to today, June 15, is more than 30 days. Sadly, the news releases have dried up and the CEO is no longer going on SI questioning my integrity and honesty and the stock dropped by over 70% from it highs. Anyone interested in AENG should look at the RDOX thread to see the same pattern as seen here on AENG. Individuals sign up for SI and immediately and completely, as Batman is doing, goes on the attack of any naysayer's veracity. To think that I'm offended by Batman calling me a dork is minor to those on RDOX. Why name calling is the modus operandi of these individuals that are shilling for these sham operations is merely one of intimidation and hope that we will disappear. A simple solution to the issues posed about AENG is an explanation of the insider selling, avoidance of providing a valid patent, and contracts. Very simple issues to resolve if this is a valid company, don't you think?

Ray:

I said this before, anyone with any market savvy would take whatever profits they have and cut their exposure to such high risk. If and when credible INFO surfaces a new look will deserve merit. What intelligent person would enter in AENG at this level? This company would be an easy sell if the product had substantiated validation. The only plausible piece of information to support your interest is you saw a DEMO. Take that away and try to sell the idea. Magic is entertaining and explainable at close examination.
I'm really trying to be objective. I have no interest in the stock price. Look back at the posts over the weekend and see how much energy was put into the OX2's credentials. I'm sorry the format quickly wares thin with many participants reverting to comic book material. I can sleep without solving the riddle of the players. I like the facts and many of the relevant ones are missing here. If you like to gamble try Vegas it offers more atmosphere for the dollar!
