Very interesting post,Lamont.

Maybe we can draw some conclusions from this data. The AR says that the Indo property owners were issued 2.4million shares in Nov 97 when ANZ increased it's ownership position.
If we assume that it is them that are the sellers(educated guess?)then they must be getting close to being out of stock, given that Midland's buys would not be the Indo's.So,take the 2.5mill sold, and assume some being sold by other than the Indo's and one could guess that approx.2mill sold was Indo.Fair amount of conjecture,I know, but my read does not come up with anyone else who could have that amount of stock.

Also, very coincidental that the selling begins in Nov.,which is when the Indos got the stock!!!

Seems to me they would be the only ones desparate enough(given the economic situation over there)to be dumping at these levels.

As usual,my guesswork only.

Ossie
