SR, I wonder too. It's not that they can't bring Flopman! to market, but they need to carefully weigh the advantages of getting into a somewhat crowded market with a "me too" product, instead of conserving capital to protect existing lucrative markets. Japan is sinking fast, and Sony is NOT immune, as their ADRs will tell you. They closed down 1 11/16 at 77 11/16, about 3 points above their 52 low. Another feather in Rocky's cap. He's been pushing Sony since he came back last year, when it was near its 52 high in the upper 90's and low 100's.

Just remember that in todays world economy Japans problems ARE OUR problems. IOM will feel this sharply when the price of Zip drives is raised to compensate for the weak currency in Japan. When I lived in Japan in 91-95 I was buying dollars for 85 Yen, the same dollar which now costs 145 Yen. Figure out what this will do to IOM's ability to get dollars back into it's fatcat CEO's pockets. And believe me, they will get it - at the shareholders expense.
