24 bit color IS ideal. I would have not suspected that you would see a difference with QP between 16 bit and 24 bit color. If your running 24 bit color then you are seeing the way its intended to be displayed). If you feel the colors are dull?? I would suggest a new monitor and/or a new set of eyes??

What Type of monitor are you using??

Is it calibrated to pantone colors??? :)
