Some clown on the Yahoo board is trying to start the old rumor that LSI is going to lose the next Playstation to NEC. He's getting his head handed to him by more informed investors though. Great to see LSI hold up today. I sold some calls when it hit $24 today - wanted to buy more puts on Amazon.com (October's, I'm not that crazy). Hoping I'll get a chance to buy LSI back soon - I think they are a very bright spot in this sea of darkness. (Some more doom and gloom for Wolf). Hope you all are holding up alright. I've been feeling some pain, but have been hedged with Dow puts (Hasn't been the best strategy over the last month. I thought techs had been beaten down pretty good, while the Dow was still overprice. Of course tech went down and the Dow went up.) Good luck. Bob

RFF: Ahh...well, that depends on your ability to deal with continuing volatility. While I don't mean to suggest that I have the constitution of a Vulcan and have been known to become a bit--what shall we say--perturbed, I have been buying DPMI, LSI (though it hasn't really 'dipped' a heckuva lot as you may have noticed), CD (Cendant) and, gag me with a spoon, oils! I'll continue to average down till the cash runs out (shortly), then start margining. Do I have confidence in the future? You bet your hiney!! JMHO... and certainly not for everybody. Regards, Wolf
