George i hope you don't mind this impressed me so much i was reading about the G7 composition the other night and quesrion of it.

ZEEV: You can fight an incipient global depression via coordinated
pumping from all the major CBs together with action to stablize Asian
currencies and end the dollar bull.

The free trade and floating currencies mantras will come under increasing
attack as a flood of cheap Asian goods head west.

Economic and financial confronations will become more frequent if current
trends continue/ The new world order is being replaced by a new world
disorder.

Do not be surpried if we get a repeat of 1985, when the G7 decided to
do whatever it took to halt a surging dollar. And they succeeded.

George, there are good reasons why folks hold physical gold, rather than XAU, in times of crisis. Privacy, can't be mismanaged away and depends on noone's promise.

Straight physical gold and silver seems a no brainer to me.

Take the deflation scenario: at current levels, there seems little downside against the dollar. AU and silver remained more or less stable against the greenback through 1998 (or at least range bound). Because they are liquid cash equivalents, they do well in the deflation scanario (whcih elevates LIQUID savings above all else).

Take the reinflation scenario: .....well, that's more obvious.
