MUEI betters estimates by double $.06 vs expected $.03: biz.yahoo.com it appears the $.03 betterment was a result of a one-time write-off.

Dog, Thanks for the information. Wrt: " 3) Large system architecture with advanced memory and I/O subsystems CPQ believes there should be only 2 - a volume series (like 1 above) but doing a better job of leveraging the industry standard parts, and a no-holds-barred version, which is the next generation of 3 above. " I would surmise there is some sort of high end scalable bus architecture but that it is in some respect not adequate to the task of competing with HWP and SUN in the high end server market. Hence, the need for the next generation. Is this a correct assesment? Jim Kelley
