Absent a selloff/capitulation/washout (i.e. a large gap down at the open) any move higher tomorrow will be a bull trap.

Lisa: On 10/24/97, the 5-day ARMs gave a buy signal followed by a 554 point loss the next trading day on 10/27/97.

On 10/16/87, the 5-day ARMs gave a buy signal followed by a 508 point loss on the next trading day of 10/19/87.

One of the flaws of the 5-day ARMs is its readings under extreme conditions. This is something to consider if the ARMs gives a buy signal.
