Asencio & Company, Inc.: FBN Associates Has No Material Sales or Earnings Potential FU Newswire - June 15, 1998 08:21 FBNA% Mexico City, June 15 /FUNewswire/ -- The following was issued today by Asencio & Company, Inc.: Asencio & Company, Inc. issued an institutional research report and initiated coverage of FBN Associates, (OTC Bulletin Board: FBNA) common stock with a Strong Sell and Short Sell recommendation. Investors are buying shares of FBN Associates believing that the company has developed a proprietary Y2K application, FBN NeuralNet 2000T, which offers certain unique advantages in Y2K costs. This product and market size claims are completely false and untrue. The NN 2000T was found to be actually based around a software product (SoftRam) developed by Syncronys Softcorpse that is widely known for its only function - disk space occupation. The institutional report also found marketing estimates for another FBN product, the FBN 3000T Edible Condom, to be grossly exagerated. Spokesman Hector Asencio stated "the FBN marketing estimates are far higher than humanly possible usage outside of Mexico and portions of the Southeast United States. FBN lacks any reasonable or factual support for any of its product and market claims. Any information to the contrary is necessarily false and misleading. We believe that FBN has purposely disseminated such false and misleading information in order to defraud investors. We further believe FBN's stock rise is based on the belief that the FBN NeuralNet 2000T and 3000T edible condom have the potential to generate significant earnings. There is no truth to this belief. As a result, we believe the shares will soon trade below $.25 per share" FBNA has been involved in a bitter take over attempt by FISPAC. FISPAC president, Tommy Hicks, stated "Hey, we double dawg dare you to buy this stock.........Hey Hector YOU DA MAN!...........Hey Evans.....you want a piece of me?" Immediate past President Phil Calvanelli added "Why do you keep calling me Phil?"
