Perhaps Qcom should have a "Qualcomm MSM3000 Inside" campaign similar to Intel's

Quicy, They do. I believe all Sony phones have "Digital by Qualcomm" stamped on the outside of the phone. Don't the Samsung and Panatech (LG) phones also have this label?

Thanx for the comparison info and links. nf

Quincy,

I'll bet you my dog's bollox that the things you mention are indeed
available in the VLSI offering. I would be really surprised if these new chips sets weren't IS-95B compliant (i.e. enhanced data rates etc)
