Talking about fundamentals, potential events and market sentiment is very germane to any TA topic. It is the coupling of FA/TA/ and momentum and market sentiment that gives one the best edge for successful trading or investing. P&F provides a picture of demand and supply ... a sense of what may be driving the demand and supply lets one track with more assurance whether the position undertaken is on course.

Now about COMS ... the P&F chart is ugly, so is the regular chart. Knowing that COMS is in play as a buyout candidate and the telecom sector is merging, it's not prudent to short the stock even if the charts say it is a screaming short (ok, ok, maybe Tom Dietz would!) COMS up today on twice the normal trading volume, is it accumulation or options arbitrage? Hmmm.
