The M3 will not be a Cyrix solution anymore. The core may go into a Cyrix product, but as a standalone non-untegrated vendor, Cyrix has bowed out. (for now, if they start having excellent yeilds and speed grades in portland, Cyrix may come stomping right back, but they can't compete with .25um chips when they only get .30um or higher out of IBM shitty er um I mean micro electronics).

It will be interesting to see K7 vs. Katmai. I won't even try to call it right now, because AMD's yeilds history is awful.
