Tim: Thanks for the stories, I am glad you like the idea.
I just remembered another Blackie story, this one is true.
Blackie goes out and buys a new stationwagon.
We all used to fish at Guana lake, about 20 miles south of Jax beach. (N of St. Augustine)
The lake is really a phenom.
There are Red Bass in there that get to be 20 lbs or more.
Well he takes the new station wagon to the lake and has a phenom night.
He must have caught 800 lbs of fish, or more.
He loads the station wagon up, (he would sell his catch, locally) and breaks one of the springs on the car.
He is pissed.
He takes the car back to the dealer and demands his money back, says the wagon is useless, defective, poorly made... blah , blah blah.
In the meantime, this brand new wagon is dirty as all get out from the fish, stinks like crazy, and he thinks the dealer is going to go for the"crappy car" story.
What a cool guy he was..

God love that Blackie, he was one of a kind.

Good one, you made me hungry, I'm headin' home to eat and I hope it's fish.
