Perhaps, if you had taken a little "guidance"....
Maybe, the "two" were too busy celebrating to waste their time posting to a crowd of people who had all the answers.
I would appreciate your comment on the movement of the share price yesterday or was that also expected?
P.S.I wonder who is bound by a confidentiality agreement?

Excellent summary Confluence. The key points of this deal: exclusion of Camafuca (which is the big prize)from the package; SUF remains a company with huge future potential; cash flow for development of Klipspringer is guaranteed; assume a "favorable" marketing deal (most likely covered by a usual non-disclosure agreement) payment to the "heirs" is DB's problem; no debt load for SUF; deal between SUF/RG will likely be paid from future profits; politically, the Minister looks good because no showdown was needed -- the parties settled amicably (with the DME's help)and this also looks good on SUF who didn't force the Minister into a delicate situation; shows DB hardball tactics alive and well in RSA (will be noted by juniors in Canada); and the world will now unfold as it should... and the sun will rise in the east... Look for "buy" recommendations from astute analysts who can now work out the new "numbers" on their calculators. IMHO its not a "fabulous deal" but its quite an acceptable one when all is said and done. The bottom line is -- SUF's future remains on track as a potential big player on the diamond scene!

Hi, Confluence. Thank you very much for providing a number of answers that deal directly with the issues I felt yesterday's news release did not address. The situation looks better than at first glance.

Of course, I don't know your Source, so I must look to verify your comments through other means. I am appreciative of his willingness to help us here. I hope we all can get a much clearer view of the details and effects of the deal over the next few days.

Again, thanks.

Steve
