Really Good Point, Dave... SEEK does have some participation in PointCast AND Hoover's Online (which I think will EVENTUALLY go public) AND News-Real, it's business intelligence spin-off which is live at www.news-real.com and was partially funded by a George Soros investment group. The things about SEEK which NOW intrigue me are NewsReal's connection with NetCenter and Netopia... SEEK's acquisition of 280, Inc. which has a product that enables corporate types to have a virtual meeting room for brainstorming and reviewing files... SEEK's ongong strong showing among business users... and the WebChat offering... Couldn't all of this--NewsReal's really nifty Industry Watch capabilities--be organized into one heckuva offering for ENTERPRISE users... who would like extranets that offer superior business intelligence, featuring a great UltraSeek server product, and even offer BUSINESS CHAT SERVICES... for real-time brainstorming...?
