Well Friends: I believe that the world as we know it is coming to an end. That is the only possible explanation. Earthquakes, floods, fires and, of course, the hated El Nino. Oil and gas have become passe and will never again be needed during our lifetimes, since the glut will obviously continue that long. Peace must be reigning supreme in the middle east since no one is concerned about the effect of possible hostilities in that region. Asia is a major has-been. No need to be concerned about increasing demand from anywhere in the east. They're returning to the stone ages and will be using their cars for garden ornaments and museum pieces. Money and earnings are only important if you're talking about stocks other than high flying internet stocks which may not make any money until 2002. And last but not least, since computers don't know how to turn over to 2000, we'll be going backwards shortly anyway. Think I'll join Chuzzy in that light reading list of his....No Exit was about hell, wasn't it? Or am I think of one of those Got Milk?</> commercials? <vbg> mph mph
