To all: Hope Mr. Pink's short picks MRVC, SIR, CCSI have taken the sting out of any set backs being experienced on the long side. SIR is speaking this mornig at the Roberson Stevens Conference. This stock should trade into low teens. MRVC another loser. Lost out to BAY in sale to Nortel. TAVA is one of Mr. Pink's favorite shorts and could be down 50% by YE. Mr. Pink

MP, Are you throwing a party on the TAVA thread? I will show up later with crudite and spinach dip. I don't have a damn thing to wear though. BTW I heard a rumor Nick turned bearish yesterday. Do you know if this is true? I started nibbling (stocks not crudite) based on this excellent contrary indicator. I am glad to see Nick step up into the void created by Michael Metz's retirement. He also reminds me of a younger Paul Stephens. In honor of Nick's growing influence on SI I will sign off for the next month as: NotNick
