Look guys - if Bezos at this point needed a few million in cash , just to play with, he could A) go to a bank and get a loan secured with some stock, or B) get his KP buddies to lend him a few million , or C) get an IB house to draw up some fancy arrangement whereby he gets cash , they get a claim on some of his shares a year or two down the road, & it's all hedged with options. None of these would show up as a "sale ". I'm sure Mr. Bezos has lots of new friends right now, and some of them are no doubt loaded. Watching for him unloading shares is probably a waste of time right now...JMO

That said, there is a very simple
reason why we haven't seen Bezos sell - he doesn't need to. All he has to do, if he wants
access to some of the value of his shares (or simply wants to lock in the current value on
some or all of his shares) is "buy" a collar. "Buy" is in quotation marks because it can be
done at zero cost, but the point is he can lock in gains and even borrow against the shares
if he wants some cash. He can have his cake and eat it too. You won't see a sale until he
wants you to see it. Until it won't effect the stock price, he can just keep rolling any
expiring collars forward so no shares get called away from him.

Bob,

Thank you for the lesson. I appreciate it.

Glenn.
