Ibexx, Watching CNBC snippets of Greenspan testifying in the senate's Mergers and Acquisition hearings. He said that he was at odds with DOJ and FTC on their anti-trust sentiments against MSFT and INTC. He said that in open markets, monopolies tend to end on their own, unless they are perceived as leaders in technology and continue to benefit consumers. In that case it isn't a bad thing. He further stated that meddling in open markets by regulation is based on the assumption that regulators can forecast what the future markets will look like, and that assumption is flawed.

Looks like MSFT and INTC have an unpaid ally.

Regards,
Bob
