sanzen. i like buying puts b/c it limits risk. you know what you can lose and no more. i like time diversifying and i also like 6 months + out in the future. these monkey with buy button orgies can last a long, long time.

don't put too much in the kitty up front. that is greedy. i have a 2/3s position right now. oct 35s and 40s. i'm looking at jan 50s now.

try and buy them when volatility isn't so high as the premiums go down a lot. amzn premiums will always wbe a little expensive, though.

be prepared to play this bow wow for 12 months or more.

also, company diversify. my mu puts are doing absolutely great. my gtw's and cmb's are a little flat, but i'm hopefull ;-)
