I like your idea Silver... I've just got caught up with the posts... I've got to say that I'm as angry and confused by Byron's suspension as everyone else. I think we all feel it as a personal affront... a slap in the face as it were. I am also feeling rather resentful that Patricia was suspended for responding (in a peaceful way) to some rather obnoxious folks. We need to express the anger... which we are doing. Charliss stated that: >>It is best to stay close to ones center<< and this is good advice. Expressing our anger will help to do this. However, once the anger has passed and our center found again, we need to make a concerted move. That move(s) needs to take into account and seek to preserve all the good things that we have come to expect from our SI membership. Those things include the sharing of dd, the personal and group "therapy" that some have come to call our mutual support, getting information to the broad support base that comes from our lurker population, a way to broaden that support and yes, a way to protect our ability and desire to get excited about impending company actions and announcements. I am sure that there are other attributes that we will want to protect, as well. I have no suggestions at this point, but my fear is that we may do to ourselves that which we have not let others do to us. Let us make sure we fully consider our actions before taking them. Lazarus, not wanting to throw away the baby with the bath water.
