T, You're not being fair here! I see from your profile that you have been a member since last year, so you have obviously been around awhile. My computer is configured such that I can 'change' operating systems by just 'swapping' out the hard disks in the 5 1/4 inch bays. I have 10 hard disks of various sizes, and select the ones that I need for any particular system. When I am running NT 4.0, in mirrored mode, both controllers are required to perform the 'mirror' operation. A different configuration is used for NT 4.0 - non mirrored, or Workstation. Again, a different configuration is used for the Linux (Unix type) operating system. When I am running W95, as I am now, I have a CD ROM and 2.5G hard disk on controller 0, and an 8.4G hard disk and SyQuest 1.5G removable disk on controller 1. When W98 is released, I will probably run an 8.4G hard disk replacing the 2.5G hard disk currently in use, but I am waiting to be able to get the large capacity HD support in W98. I use the computer part of the time for 'video processing' and there never seems to be enough storage or speed. The reason that I use so many platforms is that I do custom programming from time to time, and need to test the software on different 'platforms' to insure compatibility.
