T,

Until recently, SyQuest was the 'only' removable 'high speed' (meaning random access) device available. (1.5G)

If you mean by 'dog' that it isn't 'hi tech', I also use Maxtor, Conner, WDC and Seagate drives, which would fall in the same classification. I just need the storage area, and they were available at a 'good price'.

As for a calculator, I have an HP200LX that I carry around for that kind of 'on site' calculations that I have to make. Really a very nice 'full blown' computer, and only 11 ounces. (Yes, I write handy-dandy programs on the spot, if I need too!)

As for system requirements, I can't speak for other users, but I can assure you that I am not the only one here in the ozone! I may be the only one that is 'here' and 'there'! Most 'video processors' that I know aren't 'techies' but 'videophiles', and wouldn't know the 'internet' from an 'ethernet'!

Regards,

Ken
