Gary, You have not shot Your self in the foot or lost credibility. You just gained credibility IMO. You've done an excellent job of keeping the info true and concise and I for one appreciate it. Have a nice evening, Frank

Say WHAT?? Wow...well, I guess that's what people wanted, and probably kill two birds with one stone too...shareholders will get credible information, and you will save some money on your phone bill!

I had said earlier today that no one can blame or credit you for the performance of this stock. I hope you didn't take that to mean that I implied you haven't done WAY MORE than your share of DD on this stock. I, for one, appreciate ALL that you have done for ALL of us on this stock.

There certainly isn't anyone more qualified to provide information on this stock, and they couldn't have made a better choice. We all know how you have worked on the DD with this company, and truthfully, I am even more comfortable with the stock now that you have taken on this role.

Thanks for sticking with it.

:-)

>>Oh well hope I have not shot myself in the foot here ...<<

On the contrary, I think it's a great idea.

Instead of a dozen people (or half a dozen....) on the thread calling John Spriggs asking the same questions over and over (distracting him from what he is working on), it can be asked just once by you and communicated to people on SI and the answer posted will be that, the answer due to your straightforward here are the facts manner, no-hype style.

Plus, you'll save some on your long distance since the company will be calling you AND a certain time of the day can be set aside/dedicated for talking.

I'll give you my light-weight/bullet-resistant boots designed to protect the accidental shot in the foot. Hope they are your size. :-)

Kurt

I am skipping about 50 messages here, so please excuse me if some of what I post is redundant.

I just got off the phone with Gary. He asked me to post our conversation, since he is busy answering phones and he pretty much repeats the same thing to all investors. So here are the highlights:

Reaction: Some callers are ready to kill him... Some panic sells this morning, but there are brokers lined up to pick up the slack. Take one look at the MIDLP trading today and it should be obvious.

The question on everyones mind: Who owns the patents? Well, the guy (I forget his name) who invented DF-144 does, and Midl is behind on the royalty payments. There are several parties who claim they own the licence to use the patent right now, including Dan Fisher, John Spriggs, Novagas shareholders etc.

Midland asked John Spriggs to bring them proof of his rights to the patent licence. If he can do that, they will pay up the back royalties, the money owed to the engineering firm (about $100K total) and get financing for the plant. Since Dan Fisher ruined them financially, this will most likely involve the MIDL shell being bought by financially strong company.

The patent fight is going to take some time to resolve. One thing that was proven beyond shadow of a doubt is that DF-144 is real and extremely valuable. MIDL wants to keep persuing it, but not until they are sure that they can get undisputed rights to the patent licence. In the mean time, they are trying to cut the best deal for us shareholders. It seems that the interested parties want complete control of DF-144, where MIDL wants joint ventures.

For those that blame Gary for getting them into this, I suggest that you look in the mirror at the person who placed your buy order. As always, there are no guarantees and we certainly have to look at what could happen with MIDL without DF-144. They need to bring some strong companies public. They proved that they can protect the shell and that they can pick companies with solid products to bring to the market. Now they learned to pick solid leaders too.

With some patience, I think it still is win/win situation.

Best luck to us all.

ER

GB..

I can not believe the number of post coming in on this thread.... I am having a hell of a time keeping up with everything that's happening.

I read the Email.. My hats off to you sir. I have always admired people that had the courage to stand up for their convictions!! There are to few of us left.

I have not read everything yet but I am assuming the barbeque has been postponed? I was looking forward to your comments on your return.

Good luck to you, you've lost no credibility here.
