What other indications does Panretin gel work for, D?
I don't know if you have read previous post of mine regarding off label usage of Pan gel, but I have written that I surely hope lgnd knows of some other uses for it, cuz as of yet I don't recall of their being any other.

It is my belief that lgnd pursued P-gel for KS cuz it attacks a disease that has been associated with AIDS. The association with a very political disease can only help lgnd get approval but it is still up in the air if P-gel will have any extensive usage outside of KS. Only once the drug is approved and physicians "decide" it's worth while to prescribe it will we ever know just how well the drug will work. My wild desire, besides running naked around the playboy mansion with every playmate of the month of the last five years, is that p-gel will show an indication for acne. look what acne drugs did for MDRX, and their acne meds are nothing new. Just think "LGND's new drug for AIds patients suffering from KS clears up acne. Millions of young teens around the world can now take relief because there is new weapon that cures acne." As much as that might add a few bucks onto ligand's stock price, it would be a tremendous coup if LGND could also show that p-gel effectively cured acne induced RATS The RAT news would make lgnd soar to heights that ENMD could only dream of.

>> It
takes time to get this out of the lab, through the FDA, and onto the market, but
when it does, traders will be left out. <<

You could qualify this with a "may". Just as likely??........ the informed investor, if they've been successful with LGND in the past, will be there when it counts.

Because of the lack of business plan leverage, the trader runs little risk, IMO, of missing the boat on LGND.
