Ashkof, the Piper Jaffrey analyst is playing games. This guy is anything but on the up and up. You have to look at what he says very carefully. For instance, Ashkof recently lowered HIS OWN estimate for the second quarter for GTW from 0.47 to 0.45. This was just before the Piper Jaffrey meeting. That is HIS ESTIMATE. I repeat it is his estimate NOT the consensus estimate of all the analysts. The Consensus estimate by First Call is 0.44. So when GTW came out and said that the Consensus of 0.44 was "reasonable", then Ashkof could come out in a deliberate attempt to fool people, that he doesn't think that GTW will meet estimates for the quarter, (read between the lines--HIS estimate of 0.45) based simply on what GTW said about 0.44 being "reasonable". He's trying to make everybody jump to conclusions that GTW will miss the quarter. Don't believe it for one second. Misleading statements in a delieberate attempt to manipulate the stock price IMO.

Looks like you too were fooled by Piper's analyst comments. He said that he thought GTW would miss HIS estimate---not miss the quarter and the consensus estimate. Piper's estimate is a penny higher than the consensus estimate. Does this new Piper analyst think he can suddenly and unilaterally set quarterly earnings expectations for GTW? THIS GUY HAS NO TRACK RECORD AND SHOULD NOT BE FOLLOWED.
