Duke I hadn't heard of them. After a quick look they are a lot smaller with not to many outstanding shares. Either they don't have a lot going on or are very quiet when it comes to announcing news. It appears they had a secondary offering to pay down some debt and increase their cash position. The cash prior to the offering was suspect.

Like most of the other oil stocks, the PE is good but that hasn't meant a whole lot in the oil sector lately. How will the decline in oil activity effect their seismic 3d sales. It would appear to me that some of the others that I mentioned such as ESV or KEG are a little more diversified and may allow them to withstand some hard times.

Just a quick look though.

Cary

One to look at is NEGX - National Energy Group. Sells crude & natural gas, operates oil & gas wells, company spent last year in "assimulation, consolidation strengthening and growth"(ann/rpt). Has had good news of late, and tougher news(debt downgraded). Bought after last earnings, stock went down and have averaged since. Worth a look, when the sector turns - who knows?

Check the insider trades on Yahoo, major hitter in the stock.

Yahoo thread is pretty vicious, worth looking at for laughs and some reflection.
