Mark - I stated that I usually don't deal with stocks this low since the extra risk involved and here's why: Nasdaq Hearing Scheduled for GateField FREMONT, Calif., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- GateField(TM) Corporation (Nasdaq: GATE) announced that a hearing has been scheduled with The Nasdaq Stock Market on June 25, 1998 for the purpose of determining whether the Company's common stock will continue to be listed on the Nasdaq National Market. Looks like your friend's suspicions were right on. I doubt I could have helped you in determining if the shares were being shorted but now that the news is out, GATE doesn't have a bright short term future at all (unless the Nasdaq agrees to continue listing which might be good for a small pop).
