You know, everybody on this thread seems to be thinking short-term....then some folks try to get you to think long-term....How about everyone give their idea about what holding a stock long term is. Or how about everyone put up an example of a stock they have held "long term"

I'll give you mine. I bought a stock on 9-21-92 in a private placement offering....didn't even get on any market until 5-97..The stock had many hurdles to overcome even to make it to any market.. I paid 50 cents a share for the stock when I bought it. It traded the first day on the market in '97 for $3.00 and yesterday it closed at $4.03!! Well lets see, 5 1/2 years ...800% increase, thats only about 145% per year.... Any takers????

Correct sandstuff. In a conversation last night with Mr. Uselton, he confirmed that Mr. Christiansen is no longer President of MTEI as of 5/28/98. #reply-4863050

MTEI currently has 3 board members, Mr. Uselton, Mr. Overstreet, and Mr. Moore and would like to get 5 total.

He also stated that he only received official paperwork from the SEC on the name and cusip change yesterday.

You'll probably disagree, but I find the statement you quote ambiguous. I don't dispute that Christensen isn't part of management; I'm asking whether he sits on the board. Normally a person holding as much stock as he must do would be a board member. It may be, of course, that because this was a reverse merger, he does not. I'd just like a clear yes or no to the question.
