It was even nicer to be a holder today, up 2 3/4! Can't answer earlier question about feeding chain and what is an object where, but the May issue of a magazine called "Application Development Trends" in a blurb entitled Minding the Gap, Corba and COM (page 22) says "The bi-directional Orbix-COMnet Server allows developers to deploy objects in a Corba- or COM-based environment. A major benefit of this new technology is that it allows Corba servers to initiate a connection to DCOM clients without the use of callbacks." Also mentioned agreements with Hewlett and NEC (licensing of NEC Notification Server). Old news I guess, but sounds as if they continue to broaden their product line. Tim
