one more note on Gary's post..... If there is an index in quotes plus that doesn't do this and you can gather the symbols that make up that index then you should put all the symbols into a list with the name of the index including the ! and copy it into the qp2data\members directory....
For example to be able to look at !OEX components....
Place the below symbols into a list called !oex.lst and copy it into qp2data\members and then you can view members of !OEX as gary describes in the last message....
