With the new improved tests for Hep C risk of getting Hep C from a blood transfusion is 1 in 100,000. U.S. veterans appear to have higher rates of Hep C than the civilian population ... in a recent 6-week survey 20% of patients at the Wash, D.C. VA Medical Center tested positive for Hep C...ugh! 50% of the liver -transplant patients have the disease.... probably from all those tatoos!!>.. GO TRIBY !! ... :-) Ron

To All, How about we ask the 'break $3' contest coordinator to automatically roll-over our entries to 1999! Or instead, change it to 'break $0.30 (downward)'. If nobody wins then we try 2000. But between $3 and $0.3, we probably have a lucky winner.
