Rene,

Thanks for responding earlier today (things got real busy and I was gone for a few hours). To reply, when I see large corporations, such as Prudential (and many, many, others), putting some of their advertisement dollars to work here, I can't help but be excited by the prospects for SEEK and others in this emerging industry. That doesn't mean mean that I'm emotionally tied to this stock, but is there anything wrong with being excited about a company's future? If that's the case, I should never have invested in Home Depot 7 years ago.

I guess the difference between our styles is that you're more of a trader and I'm an investor (no offense intended, just a statement of the obvious). I have my philosophy that works for me and you have yours that works for you.

Happy SEEKing...

Here's an upbeat article that dispels some of the rumors about the death of the banner ad: zdnet.com

Now, within that article are links to 2 recent articles that predict the death of the banner ad. If you're short, read those 2 articles; if you're long, just read the first <g>. Either way, it makes an interesting read for someone who might actually care how this pertains to the future of Infoseek. cm, I'm sure you could probably rip these articles apart.

Good SEEKing...
