I just took a small opening position. I couldn't resist any longer. On the other hand I still expect the Nasdaq to hit below 1700 so I am mostly on the sidelines.

It is a tough fight ahead...market in the midst of a sell off...specs on the Riva TNT looking formidable...pricing pressures in general. On the other hand the stock is selling below book value and if I understand correctly half is cash and the other half is equity in a Taiwanese company that is doing well...S3 has great relationships with many OEM's and a very strong production capacity...and what looks like a very competitive new chip...and company belt tightening...and a CEO with determination.

I better watch my step, it's not nice to fool with Mother Market...unless your name is The Cisco Kid.
