Jeff - Japan is not another country. In this new world there are no countries there are markets. Japan is our partner in a very real sense our equal partner at least in responsibility. I believe that in the new international market environment that countries role is to ensure responsible behaviour in accordance with reasonable rules. That is the only way we can continue without serious international turmoil as we now have. The Japanses have got to behave like our partners and not new boys on the block with their own home spun ideas. The smooth functioning of the markets is all that is required to produce prosperity without war and the Japanese have got to get nito line...not our lline or their line or any other line except the market line.. regards, L
