Sonny-yes, I'm seeing a lot of comments calling this a buying opportunity. As I stated in an earlier post, the US economy remains strong, and I believe we will attract foriegn funds as that picture worsens. The boomers will still feed the market. But...hard to guess where we are headed in the short run. Yesterday's decline caught me by surprise.

Re: The list you posted. Only intc is significantly depressed, with msft and dell to a lesser degree. Have seen recommendations for msft if it drops to the 70's. (Iwould definitely be a buyer there!!)

HD has had a good run and done well for me. Tied to homebuilding, I think it has some more headroom. I really don't see an interest hike, so home building should be strong. HWP. Is it John R. that advises us to buy and sell that one on the recurring peaks and valleys. Actually has been level most of this year, but is down from its last major spike.

Actually sitting tight now, but intc is starting to attract my attention again. In the fear and greed equation, greed usually prevails with me <gg>

Later!
