Please read again what I wrote. I think you misinterpreted what I said. Thanks.

For example, where in my post did I say shareholders have a RIGHT to drive the price up. I remind you that a "vested interest" is different than a "right to do." Don't make me sound so negative or wrong--I'm not! Now I'm accusing you of putting words in my mouth! (LOL)

Now, when you said "I don't think anyone's motives should be the point of any discussion," here is exactly how I responded. NOTE: I remind you that we were talking about why Jon Tara comments the way he does, without owning any of the stock.

But Aleta, what if someone's motive is only to drive the price down? Sure you can
answer that someone may well have a motive to drive the price up, but the likelihood of
this is that the person owns the stock and therefore has a vested interest in seeing the
stock price go up.

But what of one who does not own the stock and who only wants to see the price of the
stock go down. Yes, then we should--and rightfully so--question an individual's motive.
