RookieDave BEAV...not holding through earnings cost me both SLR and CKR BUT... I slept good and made most of it up with MSPG, NSOL JBL and SEEK. CKR I was considering holding through earnings, where SLR I wasn't. BEAV is a good company and the upgrade is very appropro but I'm already close to my goal profit of 5% profit on this trade, but I will hold until there is a downdraft.. BEAV had 4 earnings surprises in the last 4 quarters. DHAX.. De Crane aircraft another airplane component manufacturer, was raised the same time as BEAV that could be an indication there is overall growth in the commercial aircraft industry . DHAX's earnings were in March: 3/03/98 - DeCrane Aircraft Reports Strong Fourth Quarter and Year-end Results --DeCrane Aircraft Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: DAHX), a leading manufacturer of avionics components and an avionics systems integrator for the commercial aircraft industry, today announced strong demand for its products and services, together with overall growth in the commercial aircraft industry that resulted in a 27.1% revenue increase and 57.9% improvement in pro forma earnings per share for the quarter. For the year, revenues advanced 67.3% while pro forma earnings per share rose 120.0%.
