Why not go for a lower strike. I sold about 10 of the oct. 30 calls. I get to pocket $4000 for each call, and there is even a little time premium involved.

You get a much higher upside vs the oct 70 call.

Jan,

>>I have an Oct 70 uncovered call order pending right now, asking $14 premium for 2 contracts; just in case. Current premium is around $10.<<

Did you get filled in? The high was $14. May be tommorrow will be $18. I may do the same thing, but I will wait, who knows they may have the same premium for Oct75.

It is crazy, they are hyping it like KTEL. I am mad and going to add some more shorts later after the volume slows down. I am a long term short sighted in AMZN. I had no intention to play this big (over $100000 for one stock,) but have to. I am using some of my real estate profit as my capital for shorting AMZN.
