GCC says oil cut since March totals 1.025 mln bpd

RIYADH, June 16 (Reuters) - Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) oil states on Tuesday said they had cut their output by a combined
total of 1.025 million barrels per day (bpd) since a landmark producers pact in March.

''...the total cuts which were pledged by the GCC countries since the Riyadh agreement in March reached 1.025 million bpd,'' the
statement said.

The statement came after the GCC announced that United Arab Emirates and Kuwait would each cut their output by 75,000
barrels per day (bpd) and Oman by 20,000 bpd from July 1.

Saudi Arabia and Qatar had earlier pledged cuts to support the Amsterdam Pact of June 4.
