Bob, Yeah, I don't think Mexico has done anything to solve its fundamental economic problems. There is money to be made trading these issues, but there is day in the future where they have to pay the piper and get their act together. If Mexico were not located just south of the US, it would be in worse shape than Indonesia and Thailand. Fortunately, Uncle Sugar does not like to see poverty on his borders, so they get some handouts. But the Chiapas rebels are right. The central govt. and its economic planners are out to lunch.
