Of course, this has been a short term decoupling but marginally helps the day-trader...at least it explains somewhat "why" the market suddenly shifts gears in mid stream.

But my opinion is, it cannot last for a longer term period. If the bond pierces certain levels the equilibrium that has developed cannot provide more emphasis on investing in the stock market as a result of a decline in the bond, which seems to be the logic at this point. Flight to safety monies escaping stocks and driving to the bonds is not smart and it's not an inverse relationship longer term, just my thoughts.
