** Research debrief: NIR linked to Ford Motor Company, Amoco Corporation & Textron Inc. ** Here's the latest picture that I've been able to build from my sources... It'll take me a couple of weeks to build a detailed research debrief so in the mean time here are at least three partners that are linked directly to Napier and ICI to test SV-35 (licensed to ICI as Hydrostrip 500) and Aquasol `surface cleaning' Solution (licensed to ICI as Hydrosol 700). This is just a partial debrief - where I name the companies involved. Names were provided to me by very solid sources. They will most likely appear in Napier's upcoming News release - with some others I suspect - but here they are anyway. I don't have as much time as I would like to do detailed research - and I invite others to do so - and please post your findings (with links/contacts). (1) Ford Motor Company (F.NYSE) - Fortune 500 rank - #2ford.com A source told me: "...All (car) bodies are acid washed before painting. Radiators, heater cores, A/C condensers, A/C evaporators, underhood fluid lines...etc...Aluminum castings have to be cleaned. Aquasol Solution probably could do all those extremely well. Ford has a mandate about environmental issues. They have advertised their relationship with Ballard fuel cells on TV and how they are striving toward environmental protection. They could sell football fields full of Aquasol every week. Then the rest of the automakers would follow suit." "I know a lot of FORD engineers...And guess what? Some of them own NIR stock" "Guy from Ford said it would be impossible to find anything out from Ford rep's on this issue before any announcement. Even for engineers there...Every vehicle has to be cleaned before painting. Isn't that what it is for?" I'm waiting for Ford to respond to me - but given the above - I doubt if they'll `fess up' prior to Napier's News. (2) Amoco Corporation (AN.NYSE) - Fortune 500 rank - #19amoco.com This is the oil company that's testing the Napier/Aquasol products to clean the inside of their storage tanks and lines. (3) Textron Inc (TXT.NYSE) - Fortune 500 rank - #158textron.com The Textron unit that is directly involved in the testing is Cessna Aircraft. From their web site: "...Familiar brand names in our family of companies include: Bell Helicopter, Cessna Aircraft, Avco Financial Services, and E-Z-GO." (4) Response to Chris Bunka's latest monthly overview - The Outsider's Overture Of course I'm not going to post Chris Bunka's latest on NIR - here's the link if you want it:stockhouse.com Select Newsletters Select `The Outsiders Overture Publications' Select June 10, 1998 report titled "Special 18pg JUNE Report: VSE Projections For The Next Six Months; 26 Updates Including ARP, NIR And South Voisey's Bay; TWO Brand-New Reviews". $US13 - order directly over the internet. Chris rates NIR as `Accumulate' and he refers to the `internet crowd'. Hey that's us !!! Here's one comment of Chris's that I'll leave you with: "Investors who missed the earlier rocket launch can still participate in the next one." Yes - he also says that NIR needs fundamentals - they'll be here shortly Chris!! Thanks for the interest in NIR. Does someone know who is the "world's largest contract chemical packager". They're in talks with Napier to package SV-35 in cans (for the retail market). Napier expects their big cash cow to be RETAIL, then the industrial market e.g., oil companies, then the niche markets, e.g., airlines. Expected earnings? Who knows? With Ford, Amoco, Textron linked to Napier and ICI, and with ICI's direct marketing presence in 163 countries - any estimate is only a guess - but I wouldn't put the anticipated P/E too low :-) Another source told me that according to Jason, Napier is now in a positive cash flow...the R&D is just starting to pay off - time for pay dirt!!! Cranking up the stereo... NIR - you go BABY!! Run like the wind sweetheart... David in Ontario :-) Ps. Fortune 500 ranking site:cgi.pathfinder.com
