Really? Seems unlikely. With all the DOJ stuff going on would MSFT really want to look like they are trying to corner yet another aspect of the net (etailing)?

Considering what you would have to pay for AMZN at this point to buy it ($4 billion?) I think it would be far cheaper for MSFT (or anyone) to just start its own web site from scratch and spend big bucks on advertising it. I don't see it (a buyout) at these levels.

ummm so is amzn buying msft? If their share price continues to appreciate at this rate, in about 2 months they could gobble up the
software giant(and show some +ve revenues)! ;)
