Paul if you look at where COMS,CS,NN and ASND were two years ago, they traded in the 80s whereas BAY had a high of only 37,and then dropped like a bomb to a new low of 15.Some of them even split, and had one traded them instead of BAY,one could have made a fortune.BAY has been the worst performing networking stock for the past 4 years when compared to the rest of the group.

Thread,

With Bay taken out, who might be next? I know the names, but looking for rationale.

Also, did everyone notice that the focus in the CNBC and Nightly Business Report interviews was on the drop in NT due to possibly over-paying for BAY. No mention of the low price House sold out for. Man, did he get off the hook. He never dreamed it would be so easy (the self satisfying son of a bitch).

Finally, there will be no bidding war. Since BAY and NT have already agreed to the merger (House with sweet deal in hand), any other offer would be hostile. A hostile merger of this nature could never work, and will hence never happen.

Pravin.
