Can one keep the Stock-Site (great site by the way, talk it up) ticker at the bottom of the screen while going elsewhere, like SI??

The servers overload at 4 a.m. PDT because of nuts like me who are just getting into high gear. (g) It was bad last night. Maybe the servers are lonely with everyone else in Seattle!

Looks like Yahoo is shutting down its OTC BB boards "due to the high volume of reports regarding posting abuses and dissemination of inaccurate and unsubstantiated information."

I think the fact that SI was able to overcome similar problems back in "the early days" speaks volumes. IMO, to have a fair and orderly market, you need fair and orderly discussions, and that's why SI's varied and unfettered content transcends what is actually being said.

A few month ago I sent an email to Jill suggesting / requesting an off line reader (downloading a number of messages at one time rather than reading them one by one). In response I was told that this feature is being worked on. Since I have not read anything about it being available, I am posting the request again.
I find it waste of time going through many posts one by one looking for relevant information and finding a lot of one liners, people thanking each other, jocks..
Please let me know if this feature is already available.
