The boss continues to buy - another good sign!!

This is taken from the Insider section of the Canada Stockwatch site:

canada-stockwatch.com

You may need a trial subscription if you're not paid up - if so go to:

canada-stockwatch.com

and sign in.

Steps:

(1) Enter `NIR' in "Symbol starts with" window
(2) Select "Insiders" (top menu)

Next screen:

(3) Enter NIR for "Company Name"
(4) Enter Aelicks for "Insider Name"

and voila!! Yes, I'm bilingual!

Brad Aelicks has enhanced his position in NIR from 1,746,600 to 1,766,600 shares - from the latest public information disclosed on 22 May `98. Here are his last three (public) trades.

Date Acquired Price Balance Reported

23-Apr-98 10,600 $2.45 1,746,600 22-May-98
24 Apr-98 10,000 $2.46 1,756,600 22-May-98
27-Apr-98 10,000 $2.22 1,766,600 22 May-98

Very similar buying pattern and balance to my own.

When the boss is enhancing his own position - I think that's a rather nice thing - don't you? What's the message here? Buy, buy, buy perhaps?

Not posting so much now - trying to catch up on work - but posting information as it becomes available.

Thanks to Al at Stockhouse's NIR thread for the prompt to get this info onto SI.

David,

I don't want to get drawn into a long discussion regarding why Napier is in my newsletter, so after I post this I'll let you have the last word if you want it...

But some perspective is in order. I originally reviewed Napier over one year ago when it was trading at $0.12! I update my coverage each month and the piece you are speaking of was written about three weeks ago. The June newsletter was "unrestricted" mostly because of events in Asia and the markets in general - I was trying to offer a littler perspective during volatile times.

For my subscribers who got in to the stock at $0.12 the profits are measured in the thousands of percent. My point in writing about Napier today is this: the original speculation is OVER! My readers made enormous profits on this stock. If you purchased at $0.12 you would have to be crazy NOT to take profits at current levels. Those who buy it now are speculating on entirely different grounds than those that existed six to twelve months ago.

As for ICI, et. al., I used to own a private company that for two years running was ICI's largest customer in BC for some of their products. I know them well.

IF Napier's product is all it is cracked up to be, it has the POTENTIAL to be revolutionary. BUT, patented or not there will be fierce competition. Also, the company will need to show earnings at some point and that seems elusive at best.

I'm pretty much neutral about the company at this point and at this price. I do not own the stock and have no motive in posting this message. Future updates to subscribers, such as the three email send last month will not be available for public view until they are out-of-date.

Thank you very much for respecting my copyright! Good luck to you and all Napier investors! I know it isn't possible, but I wish that you all make a lot of money.
