Of course, some embedded chips that look for comparisons with dates six-months prior, will not fail in the first quarter after 1/1/00...

There is some reason to expect y2k remediation to continue after the "date."

What about the EC Conversion? And oh yes, it will be fixed...after the companies that refuse to do it are sued and forced to.
